We fished with Brandon in mid July.  Brandon's knowledge of the lake and what the fish were biting on were excellent and allowed us to catch fish like it was the first good day in June.  We caught fish casting cranks, trolling cranks, slip bobbering, drifting and jigging, you name a way to fish and Brandon set up for success.  What really impressed me about Brandon besides his excellent equipment, and knowledge of the area was his true enthusiasm for fishing.  We went all day with Brandon but then he went over and above to stay and fish with us in the evenings as well.  I can't prove it but I think the guy fishes on his day off!  Just kidding but really Brandon was great, his attitude was great, his boat and gear were first rate, and you could not ask for a nicer guy to be on the water with.  I am not sure if I will make it back to Devils Lake again anytime soon but rest assured, whenever I do go, I will be asking for Pastor Pike.

I just went on one of the greatest fishing trips of my life!  We had beautiful weather and a relaxing time out on Devils Lake.  Our guide Brandon put us on the fish and we caught fish one after another.  I went with a new member of my staff and it was a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and just have a great time.  Brandon's willingness to help and supply our needs went beyond the call of duty as a guide.  His blessing of ministers is like nothing I've ever experienced.  Thank you Brandon for an enjoyable and relaxing time.  Your fun and encouraging attitude made this trip the best experience fishing I've had in a long time.

Brandon,

Just want to thank you for an especially great day...I felt our time was just a day shared by a couple of brothers.  For me it was very relaxing and a rich time of fellowship.  Thanks again for picking me up.  I trust God will prosper your guide service.

Thanks again.
Darrell (Missionary)

Brandon,

I wanted to send you a note to say thank you for attending Men In Boats this past weekend.  It was great that you could join us.  I wish that I could have had time to visit with you more.  I know that Taylor had a super time fishing with you on Saturday.  Thank you for taking him out.  He was a bit aprehensive on Friday night about fishing with someone that he really didn't know.  That was dramatically changed by Saturday afternoon.  He couldn't stop talking about the fun that he had casting for White Bass. If I have a chance to get to Devils Lake this summer I may give you a call.  I'd love to hire you for a half or whole day on Devils Lake.  There is so much area that I am unfamiliar with, it would be great to have an on the water tutorial from a guide.

Take care,

Kyle Agre
